Rush was a legendary Canadian rock band formed in Toronto in 1968. The band primarily consisted of Geddy Lee (vocals, bass guitar, keyboards), Alex Lifeson (guitar), and Neil Peart (drums, percussion). Known for their virtuosic musicianship, complex compositions, and eclectic lyrical themes, Rush’s music evolved from blues-inspired hard rock to progressive rock, and later to a more synthesizer-heavy sound in the 1980s before returning to guitar-driven rock.
