Desert Farms is a U.S.-based company founded by Walid Abdul-Wahab, a Saudi entrepreneur who grew up drinking camel milk in Jeddah. After relocating to California, he recognized the growing health-conscious community and saw an opportunity to introduce camel milk as a nutritious alternative to cow’s milk. In 2014, Desert Farms began offering camel milk products, initially selling at mosques and ethnic food festivals. The company quickly gained attention, winning the Marcia Israel Award from USC and expanding its reach through online sales and retail partnerships, including Whole Foods in Northern California
